I would not buy that bundle as the main problem of the ps3 is price so doubling it would solve ..erm nothing! Especially with the psp go that I consider inferior to the psp 3000.

Upon the ps3's release the 360 had sold 5.5 million and the gap remained at that point until August 2008 where the 360 recieved a price cut and now the gap stands at 8 million +. Good for MS but it does show the potential a ps3 price cut to a more consumer friendly level. The future is very much unknown.

Do you honestly know the credentials of this analyst? I would have thought the recession should have told you that an analyst or an economist is a person who will know tomorrow why the things he predicted yesterday didn't happen today. And I speak with a degree in Economics!

Thats very true and of course Sony will be around next generation but it is not the sales that matter. The ps3 may have outsold the Gamecube and will increase its lead comfortably, however the Gamecube was very profitable (not far off the ps2) whilst the ps3 has lost a hell of alot of money. This is what influences business decisions.
